When it comes to a product photography service, it doesn’t work like one price fits all, as every product is a different project. Some of them are reflective, some of them have glossy labels and some are oversized. That’s why we are trying to price each product individually to make sure we can give the best value for the price. Also, it significantly depends on where you want to use those images. As there is no need for super expensive images to be used on platforms like Amazon and Etsy, Amazon requires images of the products to be placed on a pure white background, to be clear and sell well, while images that are used in magazines, on facebook covers, website sliders and banners are required to be more dramatic and super retouched. For this reason we will provide you with the best price that meets your needs.
At this phase we will kindly ask you to select the best looking products for photography that have the least scratches or blemishes. Please package them carefully to make sure nothing damages them during transportation. After that, all you need to do is to ship or drop off the products at our New Jersey photography studio at 15 Warren Street, Suite PHE-1, Hackensack, NJ 07601.
To make sure you receive the required product photography service quality, please be specific as far as possible. This is one of the most important phases to get the best quality and to avoid any additional charges resulting from reshooting or re-editing, as the photographer will carefully follow your instructions. It is always a good idea to provide sample images as nothing is more descriptive than a visual example. It can be images from your competitors as well. Also, please let the photographer know if you want to participate during the photoshoot or not. In some cases, it is a great idea to participate during the shooting and approve the images instantly before moving on to the next one. This way we will save a lot of time for both parties.
Product Photography Service – Shooting
Now it is time for the actual photography process. Usually, it takes about an hour to prepare all the lights, background and props for the shooting. After that process, it is usually faster and smoother. If you choose to participate during the actual shooting at our photography studio, you can see a preview of the images instantly on 13” iPad Pro while enjoying your coffee.
After the shooting process has been completed, we will export selected images and send them to one of our highly skilled editors along with your instructions. We will also provide you with a dropbox link where you can leave your comments regarding retouching and request additional revisions. Our editors have been working with us for more then 10 years and they know exactly the way our photographer likes things to be done. Also, while providing a product photography service, it is very important to make sure that the colors of the images match the actual product.Thats why we use special equipment to match the colors. Usually, editing takes 3-5 business days depending on the complexity and number of images. But sometimes it may take up to two weeks, as well.
Tad-am, delivery day.. Once we receive the images from our editors, our photographer will personally review them to make sure everything is properly edited and the colors match correctly. We will deliver images to you via dropbox or internal link where they will be available to download for a month. Images are usually delivered in Jpeg or TIFF format but can be delivered in PNG if requested, as well.
